One of the new enemies in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the Minotaur. Technically Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen had the Eliminator which wore a minotaur helmet, but in Dragon’s Dogma 2 there is an actual beastlike Minotaur enemy. Here is how to kill a Minotaur in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Tips for fighting a Minotaur
The Minotaur can be an extremely dangerous enemy, using its ram-like horns while charging across the battlefield to inflict insane amounts of damage. Thankfully, we know just how to kill the Minotaur in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
As you might have guessed, the weak spot of the Minotaur is its head, primarily its horns. If you focus damage on this area you can quickly drain all of the Minotaur’s health pool.
However, you want to stay agile as the Minotaur will often rear its head down and charge head-first toward you and your party. If you get hit by this charge it can literally kill you or your Pawns in one hit, so you want to be sure to stay agile throughout this fight so you can quickly move out of the way of his charge.
If the Minotaur fails to connect his charge, he will slam into a nearby object and fall over, giving you the perfect opportunity to get some heavy damage on the Minotaur while he recovers. Rinse and repeat this process and you will take down the Minotaur pretty quickly!
Once defeated, make sure you loot the Minotaur corpse to get some Minotaur Horns, a very useful crafting material!
