How to increase the Town Rank in Fields of Mistria

One of the many things you can level up in Fields of Mistria is the Town Rank. Increasing this rank will not only offer you a long list of rewards, but also enables you to unlock new areas of the town and gameplay experiences. 

How to increase Renown level and Town Rank in Fields of Mistria

To start with, the Town Rank will be Wood. In order to increase this rank, you’ll need to earn Renown, which can be earned in the following ways:

• Collecting and donating items to the Museum
• Shipping items using the Shipping Bin on your Farm
• Completing quests, including those available on the Request Board

At the end of each day, you’ll see how much Renown you earned on the summary screen (shown above), then you’ll see whether you’ve leveled up your Renown level. Each rank has 10 renown levels, so you’ll increase your rank when you hit Renown level 10, 20, 30, and so on. In total, there are currently 10 possible increases to the Town Rank. 

You can also check your Town Rank in the main menu:

Each time you increase your Renown level by one, you’ll receive a reward, but it doesn’t go directly into your inventory. To collect your reward, head into town and interact with the chest next to the Request Board to claim what you’ve earned. When you hit Renown level 10, you’ll also gain access to the Mines. 

Every other reward seems to be a Purse filled with Tesserae to increase your funds, but other rewards are available at the following levels:

This is as far as I’ve got as of yet, but I will update this with further rewards once I’ve played through more of the game.
