How to get Yyasulani Garlic in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV)

If you’re looking to stock up on some Orange Crafters’ Scrips in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, one of the easiest options is with Culinarian. However, even this recipe calls for some materials and if you’re not willing to spend a lot of Gil, you’ll need to gather them. 

One of the ingredients you’ll need is Yyasulani Garlic. As it’s a fairly sought after ingredient, the prices for Yyasulani Garlic are pretty steep on the Marketboard, but don’t worry. It’s fairly easy to gather, as long as you’ve got your Botanist level high enough to do so. 

How to farm Yyasulani Garlic in Final Fantasy XIV

Yyasulani Garlic comes from level 100 Harvesting nodes in Heritage Found, south west of the Outskirts Aetheryte. As it’s a level 100 node, you’ll need to be pretty high level yourself, but not necessarily at level 100. 

You can gather Yyasulani Garlic at any point from level 95, but you may encounter some difficulties in gathering it effectively. However, good use of the Field Mastery actions will increase your chances of obtaining the items, and most of the time you only need to use Field Mastery II in order to increase the chance to 100%. 

Other ways to get Yyasulani Garlic in Final Fantasy XIV

If you’re lucky enough to be part of an FC with a functioning Submarine at rank 119, you could possibly get some Yyasulani Garlic back after sending it out on a venture to Proudkeel. 

This is the only way to get Yyasulani Garlic outside of gathering it yourself or purchasing it through the Marketboard.

Can you buy Yyasulani Garlic in Final Fantasy XIV

If you’re unable to go and get the Yyasulani Garlic yourself, you can purchase in on the Marketboard. Remember that this early into an expansion, prices are at a high, so you’ll end up paying more than is strictly necessary. 

At the time of writing, Yyasulani Garlic sells for between 400 and 1,000 Gil on North American servers according to Universalis. 

How to use Yyasulani Garlic in Final Fantasy XIV

The biggest use for Yyasulani Garlic is, as I said, to get Orange Crafters’ Scrips by making Rarefied Tacos de Carne Asada.

Here’s all of the ingredients you’ll need per craft:

• 2 Rroneek Chuck
• 2 Dark Rye Flour
• 2 Yyasulani Garlic 
• 1 White Pepper

Other than this recipe, Yyasulani Garlic is used in the following meals, which can be used to increase a variety of stats and boost EXP gain by 3%:
