Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 puts you into the shoes of an Ultramarine and throws you into a head-to-head war against the Tyranid scum. You’ll combat Xenos in PvE game modes and other players in PvP, and you can look damn good while doing it with the game’s Twitch Drops.
You might not expect to have a huge variety of customization options for your character in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, but it fits the universe incredibly well. Think about it: Warhammer 40K is a tabletop game that’s just as much about customizing your miniatures as it is about actually playing against others using the armies you’ve made. You can do something similar with this game’s Twitch Drops, but you need to be set up to earn them first.
How to get Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Twitch Drops
To get the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Twitch Drops, you need to visit the game’s official website and set yourself up to earn them. This requires you to link your Twitch and PROS accounts. You must set up your PROS account if you want to use the game’s cross-save functionality, so it’s really worth getting that done early on.
To claim your Twitch Drop rewards, you must watch the game on Twitch with any streamer who has Twitch Drops enabled between specific dates. You earn Twitch Drops for watching a game for specific amounts of time, so you’ll need to watch for the requisite hours if you want to pick up everything on offer. Once you’ve watched for long enough, you’ll see that you’ve earned some Twitch Drops and can claim them via a code from your Twitch Drops Inventory.
There are four cosmetics to unlock for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 through Twitch Drops. I’ve listed what they are and how long you need to watch the game on Twitch to earn them below.
- Porphyr Shield Chainsword, Bolt Pistol, and 150 Requisition Points: Watch for 1 hour between September 4 and September 16, 2024.
- Porphyr Shield Powerfist: Watch for 1 hour between September 4 and September 30, 2024.
Note that all of these are cosmetics and won’t allow you to deal any additional damage. The Requisition Points will help you unlock better cosmetics sooner and give you a head start on earning everything available over those who don’t use Twitch Drops. Considering the game will be updated regularly with new content in the future, it’s going to be worth having as many cosmetics as possible to keep your character’s look fresh.
