How to get to the Beasting Village in Octopath Traveler 2

We’re going on a boat ride

Gathering all the travelers ofĀ Octopath Traveler 2Ā requires some significant travel time. And at some point, sooner or later, that will require a little bit of boat travel too.

The world ofĀ Octopath Traveler 2Ā is broken up into several landmasses. Three recruitable characters (ThronĆ©, Osvald, and Temenos) start on the eastern continent, while four (Agnea, Hikari, Castti, and Partitio) are on the western side. Ochette, however, is on an island all her own. And recruiting her means getting to the Beasting Bay and her village.

How to reach Toto’haha: Beasting Bay

If you started with Ochette as your primary protagonist, then good news: you’re already there. You’ll still need some of the tips here to leave, but the path ahead will be a bit more straightforward than it is for the more landlocked heroes.

For anyone else, or if you just need to get from continent-to-continent, there are the docks. Different anchorages will ferry you across the sea, for a fee. You’ll need to use them to get from one continent to the other, and also to make it to Ochette’s home in Beasting Village.

Luckily, anchorages are easy enough to find. They’ll all be marked on the map with the anchor symbol, indicating a boat there can ferry you somewhere else for a few leaves. Depending on your chosen start, you may even be close or directly next to a dock, too.

Just speak with the NPC that has the anchor icon over their head, usually located directly next to the dock.

Making repeat journeys

The upside to all this is that, once you’ve made the journey, you won’t have to make it again. After visiting a town, you’ll have unlocked fast-travel to that location. So while you’ll need to ferry once, just make sure you check into a village or town, and you won’t have to do it again.

Additionally, you’ll eventually be able to get your own boat and sail the high seas at your leisure. There are a lot of ways to get around the decks and check in wherever you need to be inĀ Octopath Traveler 2.
