Genshin Impact Version 5.0 introduces the newest explorable area of Natlan, also known as the Nation of Pyro. There’s plenty of content to discover here, from the Saurian dragons to elite warriors. In this guide, we’ll help you embark on this latest journey by showing you how to get to Natlan and unlock its Archon quest in Genshin Impact.

How to reach Natlan in Genshin Impact

To unlock Natlan in Genshin Impact, complete the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III Song of Dragon and Freedom in Mondstadt. It’s a reasonably early quest in the game, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to finish if you’re just getting started. Anyone who has achieved this mission will find a waypoint to the left of the Desert of Hadramaveth.

Simply travel over to this side to explore all of Natlan’s wonders. Alternatively, you can stick with the Archon quests to get there using the main storyline pathway. It mandates a few more requirements, but it’s perfect for those who enjoy following Genshin Impact’s immersive narrative.

How to unlock Natlan Archon quest in Genshin Impact

Travelers can unlock the Natlan Archon quest in two ways: the standard main story route or the Quick Start feature. If you want to get the ball rolling quickly, use the ladder method. For this, you must be Adventure Rank 28 or above and complete the Quest Chapter 1: Act III, A New Star Approaches in Liyue.

Look under the Events Overview page to confirm the Quick Start option for the Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn. Remember that this will skip over any previous quests you may have missed out on. However, you can always check back on these storylines later to catch up.

If you want to experience the story without Quick Start, you’ll need to be Adventure Rank 40 or above and complete Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act VI “Bedtime Story.” The choice is entirely up to you based on your gameplay style.

Regardless of the method you choose, the rewards are equally satisfying. Both routes lead you to Natlan, where you’ll receive a new quest destination in Romaritime Harbor. Start the Natlan! A New Adventure mission on the bottom floor of the harbor.

Once you arrive, a cutscene commences with various Genshin Impact characters, unlocking the waypoint to Natlan. While there, progress further in the Act 1 Natlan Archon Quest to earn Kachina, the four-star Geo polearm wielder, for free.
