A Swimsuit Worth Seeking

There are plenty of waterfalls in Hyrule. In addition to looking cool, they can be used as a way to swim up mountains and even access some sky islands. Before Link can do this, he needs the Zora armor. This guide explains how to get the complete Zora Armor set.

How To Get the Zora Armor in Tears of the Kingdom

The Zora Armor, which is the torso of the outfit, is obtained very easily. Simply travel to the Zora Domain, which is located on the east side of the main map, and speak to Lady Yona. She can be found in the infirmary.

Talking to Lady Yona triggers the “Restoring the Zora Armor” quest. She informs Link that she has Zora armor, but it needs to be mended. This can only be done with an Ancient Arowana. If Link’s been exploring, he may have a few on hand already. If not, there are some spots to reliably find them.

One of the closest places to find Ancient Arowana is Shatterback Point, which is at the top of Ploymus Mountain. The exact coordinates are: 3750, 0418, 0534. The mountain is also where Ihen-a Shrine is located. Once the required fish is obtained, hand it to Lady Yona. As a reward, she will give Link the Zora Armor.

How to Get the Zora Greaves in Tears of the Kingdom

After completing Sidon’s questline, head back to Yona to trigger the “A Token of Friendship” quest. Yona wants to thank Link by giving him the Zora pants. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have them on hand, and Link will have to retrieve them on his own.

Head to East Reservoir Lake, which is located between Ruto Precipice and Ja’Abu Ridge. The best way to do this is to head to Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and launch from there, taking a break on one of the sky islands on the way to replenish stamina. It’s easy to aim for East Reservoir Lake from above, as there is a huge whirlpool. Drop into the whirlpool, and this will take Link to the Ancient Zona Waterworks.

Once there, follow the descending path until Link reaches an illuminated hole in the ground. Drop down the hole, and there will be a Stone Talus waiting to battle. Destroy it, then head to the treasure chest hidden behind the waterfall. It holds the greaves.

How to Get the Zora Helm in Tears of the Kingdom

The last piece of the set is located in a previously visited location if the Sidon questline has been completed. It lies on a fish-shaped sky island named Floating Scales Island. The exact coordinates are: 4074, 0537, 0603.

To get there, either glide down from Igoshon Shrine from Wellspring Island or swim up the waterfall near Ploymus Mountain. The coordinates of the waterfall are 4002, 0580, 0416. Once there, head to the tail side of the fish. On the right side, a hole is visible on the side of the fish. Glide into the hole and the helm can be obtained in a treasure chest.

The Zora outfit in Tears of the Kingdom is great for players intending to use the waterfalls often. With the whole set, Link can also swim faster and perform a spin attack while swimming.
