The Heart Piece can be found in the bottom right area of Suthorn Beach, and you can see it when using the right Joy-Con to look around. It seems completely out of the way, but getting it is rather easy.

First, summon a table to climb up onto the rocky area in the middle and then cross over to the second section of the beach there. From the beach, swim southeast until you come to a little island. You’ll be able to see the Heart Piece much more easily now.

When you’re on this island, select the Wooden Box or Old Bed as your active Echo, and summon them in a row to get over to the little section where the Heart Piece is.

After this, you can use the same method to head back to the little island and then use Beds to cross over to the north. This will take you to the next area, Suthorn Village, where you can visit the shop to get your next Heart Piece for 80 Rupees.
