Whether you love it or hate it, Remnant 2‘s The Dark Horizon wraps up the game’s post-launch DLC saga in a recognizable, true-to-form manner. You get a new Adventure and oodles of content both hidden away and not, and the Warden archetype and their Nanoplated Armor are a key highlight.
The Nanoplated Armor Set is ostensibly the Warden subclass’s featured suit. It was prominently shown off on promotional media for The Dark Horizon so, naturally, you’re on the hunt for it. The funny bit is that I missed this armor entirely on my first go through the DLC, so I’m thrilled to help you not make the same mistake I did. Here’s how to find the Nanoplated Armor in Remnant 2.
Where to find Nanoplated Armor in Remnant 2?
It should come without saying that you need to own the Dark Horizon DLC to be able to access all the content we discuss here. Neither the Warden nor the Nanoplated Armor will be accessible if you don’t own the DLC. It is a good investment if you enjoy Remnant 2‘s core gameplay loop, so I do recommend it. Doubly so, if you enjoy the techno-horror vibes of N’Erud.
Back on track, the easiest possible way to get the Nanoplated Armor in Remnant 2 is to have the Warden archetype unlocked from a prior playthrough, and then begin a new run with a new Warden character. This will have you start the game with the full set of Nanoplated Armor, so you don’t have to worry about grabbing it over in N’Erud. For this to work, however, you need to have unlocked the Warden beforehand and ditch all the progress you had on your main character, so it’s not a perfect solution.
Where is Nanoplated Armor in the Dilapidated Auditorium?
Instead, you may prefer to go back to the Dilapidated Auditorium world crystal to find the Nanoplated Armor the old-fashioned way.
Spawn at the aforementioned location and then head right, towards the downwards ramp. Soon you’ll come across a glider, which you need to take over the bridge that’s visible in the distance. Use the booster springs to get proper air time, it shouldn’t be too hard. Your target is the barely discernible opening with a mild orange light coming off it, just above the right side of the bridge you’re flying over.
You need to drop onto this platform and immediately prepare for combat. Enemies will push towards you from the adjoining corridor, and you need to push towards them if you intend to grab that sweet Nanoplated set. It’s a fairly straightforward encounter, and it won’t take long before you reach the fancy circular room with the reward hanging off the equipment closet. Note that Spark can spawn in this area too, which is handy if you’re trying to unlock it as a vendor.
Nanoplated Armor is a heavy set with rather great Bleed and Blight resistances, and I’m quite fond of it myself. The helmet is about as wacky as they get, though.
