How to get the Miter in Warframe

Who doesn't love some saw blades?

Some weapons in Warframe can be extremely difficult to acquire. You might have to farm a very hard mission, or acquire an obscene amount of a resource (looking at you, Sibear). However, most weapons are straightforward to get. You farm a mission and you get its parts, as is the case here. Here’s how to get the Miter in Warframe.

The Miter’s blueprint and components are acquired by defeating the Captain Vor and Lech Kril dual boss fight on the node Exta, Ceres. This boss fight is a touch more difficult than the individual fights of both, but is mostly about taking down Vor quickly followed by dealing with Lech Kril’s rather annoying mechanic to take him down. Every time you defeat them and successfully extract from the mission, you’ll have an equal 16.67% chance to get the Blueprint, Blade, Barrel, Handle, and Gun Chassis. After farming it for around a dozen attempts, all parts should be yours.

The Miter doesn’t require you to build each part, so you should be able to build it the moment you get the last part. Simply wait 12 hours after starting the construction, and you’ll be sporting a new Miter.

Is the Miter worth using?

The Miter is a saw blade launcher that sports pinpoint accuracy, ricocheting saws, large projectiles, and great Status Chance. However, it’s let down by those projectiles being slow, low Crit Chance, and a mediocre magazine. Among the community, it’s considered an alright pick but is far outclassed by some of the other weapons. If you do want to use it, you should build its mods for Crits and Status Effects.

You should also keep this weapon around if you have yet to get the Panthera. It’s used in the blueprint for that weapon, so it’s be a great idea to get the Miter to 30, then use it to build the Panthera and level that. That way, you get more Mastery out of the supplies and grinding done beforehand.
