How to get the large rucksack in MW3 Zombies

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies lets players tackle the open-world map of Urzikstan with tons of items to collect. If you have a hard time having enough slots in your inventory, consider getting the MW3 Zombies large rucksack.

How to get a large backpack: Lockers

The large backpack in MW3 Zombies has two main methods for players to find them in the middle of matches: storage lockers and buy stations. Unfortunately, it is not a situations where you can bring a large rucksack with your as part of your loadout for Zombies matches. Instead, you’ll have to locate it in the middle of the match.

If you want to find a large backpack without spending any of your precious cash, you’ll have to look inside of lockers and supply crates. There is a random chance you will find these every time you open up one of the containers. However, there are a bunch of other items like salvage, ammo, grenades, and more you can find when you do this.

As such, this method is pretty unreliable, as you can open up a dozen of these containers and never see a large rucksack. That said, there is a way to somewhat increase your chances of finding one of these large backpacks in containers. That is to head to the medium and high threat areas on the map, noted by the orange and red circles. These often increase your chances of finding large backpacks.

Buy Stations

The other method is much more reliable and that is to head to the buy station. Unfortunately, you can only purchase large rucksacks from the buy stations in the high threat areas. Head to the red circle where the toughest enemies are located and you’ll be able to buy a large backpack there for a whopping 10,000 essence currency.

That is quite a lot but it may be worth it for the guaranteed nature of this method. If you head to a buy station anywhere else on the map, you’ll only find medium rucksacks for sale.

MW3 Zombies large rucksack, explained

The large rucksack is the biggest bag you can get in MW3 Zombies. It lets you hold 10 different items in your bag at once. This is fantastic, since it is almost double the mere six items you can hold with the small rucksack. Even the medium backpack only lets you hold eight items. As such, the large rucksack is often worth the effort to obtain.
