How to Get the Death Perception Recipe in MWZ

Maintain the element of surprise.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Zombies mode (MWZ), you can collect crafting schematics or recipes that allow you to make a steady supply of helpful items and tools before each deployment. To add, these schematics/recipes don’t require any materials to collect, though there’s a cooldown on each item.

In the Perk-A-Colas section of the MWZ crafting menu, there’s a wide variety of helpful items, from one that speeds up reload time and armor replating time, to one that increases your max health and one that lets you revive quicker than normal. But, one particular recipe that’s tripping players up is the recipe for the Death Perception can. So, let’s take a look and see what this perk is, as well as where it can be found.

What is Death Perception in MWZ?

Death Perception in MWZ is a perk which allows any player who uses it to see enemies, chests, and other resource drops practically through walls. According to the game’s description, these items are keylined while deployed in Urzikstan. This could be a very helpful perk to have if you’re looking to find a specific item or resource, or if you’re looking to best utilize the element of surprise against your foes.

How to find the Death Perception recipe/schematic?

There are two confirmed means by which you can earn the Death Perception recipe/schematic. One will for sure result in you unlocking your desired prize, while the other is more based on your luck.

The only known confirmed method of securing the Death Perception recipe is by completing the Act 3, Tier 1 story mission “Two Factor Authentication.” Part of the mission is finding the Death Perception recipe and making a successful exfil. If you can make it out of dodge with the recipe intact, you’ll have earned your elusive prize. If you’re in the final act of MWZ — or close to it — this is a viable option, and it might be a lot quicker than the alternative.

If you’re nowhere near Act 3, it pains me to tell you that the only other method of finding this schematic is through random drops scattered throughout the MWZ map. You have a chance of finding it in the various loot caches, or you could potentially find it hidden in a Reward Rift upon the successful completion of a contract. In any case, we wish you the absolute best in locating this prize!
