Get ready to hunt some Lynels
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has plenty of intriguing enemies and weapons for players to collect. One of the most unique and hardest to acquire weapons is the 5-shot Lynel Bow. Itās not only going to take a bit of trial and error to obtain it;you’ll need to harness your expertise to take down some tough foes.
It is absolutely worth it, though, as the 5-shot Lynel Bow is one of the most powerful bows in all of Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike its lesser 3-shot version, it shoots five arrows at once. If you aim it right, you can essentially deal five times the damage in a single blast.
How to get the 5-shot Lynel Bow in Tears of the Kingdom
There are two main ways you can get a 5-shot Lynel Bow in Tears of the Kingdom. The first one is a bit more straightforward, but youāll need Lady Luck on your side for it to work. What you want to do is take out one of the Silver Lynels in the game.
These are among the toughest foes in the game, let alone for a Lynel itself. Silver Lynels are not easy to find or defeat, but one of the easiest to locate is near Tama Pond in the Hebra Plunge region at (-2375, 1863, 0339).
There is a small chance that one of the drops you get from a Silver Lynel is the infamous 5-shot bow. Unfortunately, you arenāt guaranteed for this method to work for you. That is where the other method comes into play, which is a bit easier for you to accomplish.
How to make a 5-shot Lynel Bow
The other way to get the 5-shot Lynel Bow is to first acquire the 3-shot bow. You can also get this by defeating most Lynels, and it is a bit easier to do so this way than the initial method. If you are able to get a 3-shot bow, you can then take it to one of the Octoroks in the world.
You can usually find these near Death Mountain, including just north of Goron City. Drop your 3-shot bow in front of the Octorok, walk away, and it will suck up the weapon. It will then shoot out the weapon after a few seconds have passed with an attack buff attached to it, which sometimes has a chance of converting it into a 5-shot bow.
This change isnāt guaranteed to happen, so I recommend saving before you drop your bow in case it doesnāt work.
