How to get Standard and Elite Tokens in Elemental Dungeons

Roblox’s Winter Spotlight event is live for the holiday season, and Elemental Dungeons is part of the token festivities. As you enter Santa’s Village and defeat gingerbread enemies, you’ll discover presents that are the key to getting both the standard and elite tokens for this experience.

How to get the Standard Token in Elemental Dungeons

Obtaining Elemental Dungeons‘ Standard Token requires completing the Santa’s Village dungeon, available as a limited-time event. You can find this event in the main hub by spawning into the center square and turning toward the giant candy cane-filled area labeled “New Dungeon, Santa’s Village.”

Here, you’ll find a portal to the dungeon and a festive market to spend the event’s currency. Don’t worry about the market for this, as you won’t get any tokens from it. Instead, enter the dungeon portal and either create a private, friends-only, or public lobby, depending on your preferences. It’s labeled as a Hard difficulty dungeon — and admittedly, it is a little challenging compared to early-game levels — but it isn’t too bad once you get the hang of it.

Once you join, you’ll find your usual brutes, warriors, and smashers reskinned as Winter-themed enemies. You will also find a ton of presents, but I’ll talk about their significance later. For now, your focus is to defeat each enemy, advance through the dungeon, and defeat the final boss to get your token.

By far the hardest part of this dungeon is the boss, Grouch. Boasting 30,000 health, he’ll launch tons of ice attacks and hit you with his bag, resulting in a few almost guaranteed deaths if you’re not a veteran of the experience. Nonetheless, your power is also buffed, so it’s just a matter of chipping away at his health until it reaches zero, completing the dungeon and rewarding you with the Standard Token.

How to get the Elite Token in Elemental Dungeons

If you struggled with Santa’s Village dungeon the first time, it won’t get any easier, as you need to eliminate the Grouch five times and find all of Santa’s presents. First, though, let’s visit Santa himself.

You can first encounter Santa by selecting Warp, visiting the Trading Castle, and turning until you see a gingerbread house. Upon entering the building and speaking to Santa, he’ll ask you to find all of his presents and eliminate the Grouch in exchange for an Elite Token. Once you do this, return to Santa to get Elemental Dungeons’ Elite Token.

Santa’s Village has 14 presents you need to find. As you defeat enemies, you’ll unlock new areas, giving you access to more presents. However, you’ll only be able to interact with them after completing the dungeon once and talking to Santa.

You’ll know you can interact with a gift when a yellow gift box icon appears above it. By walking up to the box, you’ll see a “Mark” interaction appear, allowing you to claim the box and move on to the next. Fortunately, you don’t have to find all 14 presents in one round, and the locations are not randomized.

That said, below is every gift location in Elemental Dungeons:

The first two presents appear right at the beginning. One is a white box in front of a snowman, while the other is a red present near a gingerbread person.

After passing the frozen lake and defeating the enemies on it, you’ll find three more presents near the candy cane and in a pile just before the big ice barrier blocking you from the next location. After collecting these three, you should have five gift boxes.

You’ll find several presents to your left once you defeat the enemies and move on to the Santa Village square. One is in front of another gingerbread cookie, while two are in front of a decorated tree.

You’ll also find a present next to a gingerbread house behind the tree from above. This one is particularly easy to miss, so watch out for this pair of gift boxes. Nine down, five to go.

After defeating more enemies, you’ll find an area with two gingerbread houses and two gift piles. There is only one present here in the pile closest to the entrance.

With more gingerbread enemies down, you’ll enter the final area before the Grouch boss. Make sure not to defeat everyone right away or else you’ll automatically teleport to the boss and be unable to claim the final four presents. Your first present is a green box behind the candy cane in the center of the area.

Fortunately, the last three are easy, as they’re right beside the entrance to Grouch’s lair. Run past the gingerbread enemies until you reach the door to mark three of the five gifts, completing the gift-collecting portion of the Elite Token. Now, you just have to defeat the Grouch four more times before returning to Santa and claiming your token.
