How to get Sniper Headshots easily in Black Ops 6

Got to get that Red Tiger camo somehow.

Since the launch of BO6, the Sniper Rifle class seems to have gotten the short end of the stick. The gun’s slow movement speed makes it almost impossible to use in Multiplayer’s fast-paced rounds, where Assault Rifles, SMGs, and Shotguns take point.

If you want to make this weapon class more accessible, we’re here to show you how to get Sniper Headshots easily in Black Ops 6.

How to easily get Headshot Kills with Sniper Rifles in BO6

Use the following tips to get Sniper Rifle Headshot Kills quickly in BO6:

  • Equip the LW3A1 Frostline
  • Use attachments that help with ADS, like the Target Laser
  • Throw out Shock Charge before initiating the kill
  • Utilize blue-colored perks for better sneak attacks
  • Use the Gunfight Wildcard
  • Play Face Off Moshpit and get easier headshots
  • Participate in Domination mode
  • Get easier headshots in the more medium-sized Core maps

First off, you should probably start with the LW3A1 Frostline. Thanks to its easier-to-handle ADS speed, it’s one of the best Sniper Rifles in BO6.

While this particular class may not always be the greatest with ADS, there are ways to compensate for it. The Target Laser, for instance, is a powerful tool that reduces ADS weapon sway, enhancing your accuracy. Despite the enemy being able to see the laser, this should not deter you from using it effectively.

You can also attach the Weighted Pad and Compensator to up the stats of your recoil control. The better the handling, the better your chances are at quick Sniper Headshot Kills.

The rest of your Sniper Rifle loadout should cater to Quickscope and long-range kills. In particular, the Shock Charge is an excellent way to stun your opponent temporarily, giving you enough time for a quick and easy headshot. But, if you’re trying to stay in one place, opt for the Prox Alarm to detect any nearby enemy movements.

For Perks, stick with any blue-colored abilities to get the Recon Speciality. While Ghost allows you to remain undetectable with Scout Pulses and UAVs, Ninja lets you move more quietly. Those who want to be agile with Sniper Rifles should pick the latter. But if you’re a stationary type of player, go for Ghost. Other blue-colored perks, like Vigilance and Engineer, are good to use, too. However, you can always change it to suit your play style better.

The Gunfighter Wildcard can be your last touch, providing three extra attachments to your loadout. Decking out your build to the fullest is your best bet at Sniper Headshots in Black Ops 6, increasing the weapon’s stats all around.

Best BO6 maps and modes to use for Sniper Rifle Headshot Kills

Although the Face Off Moshpit features small-sized maps, they offer some of the best lanes in BO6. That means you’ll have more chances at a clear straight shot, especially if you’ve landed on maps like Gala and Warhead. I’ve seen many players get easy Headshot Kills in Gala, specifically when the opposite side camps near the campaign stand. However, Pit and Stakeout make those headshots slightly more challenging, given that they are designed for fast-paced fights.

If you’re using the Core playlists, maps such as Derelict, Protocol, and Vault provide a few places for Sniper Rifle enthusiasts. You can use high vantage points in these locations, which are perfect for setting up shop with your sniper.

You’ll need 100 Headshot Kills to unlock the exclusive Red Tiger camo. Each Sniper Rifle comes with this challenge, so using the tips mentioned above is essential. We may also anticipate an SR buff soon in light of the feedback from many players. It’s just a matter of time until we get more accessibility with this beloved class.
