How to get Sea Monster Tooth in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Maybe we'll see some sea monsters some day.

When you think of Disney Dreamlight Valley, you probably wouldn’t think of monstrous sea creatures that ruin cities or wipe out other fish. Fortunately, you won’t ever encounter this, but you can find sea monster teeth while fishing as part of the Storybook Vale expansion pack.

Where to find Sea Monster Tooth in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can find Sea Monster Teeth by fishing in Everafter. While fishing in this forest, look for blue ripples in any water source to get these teeth. The odds of getting any fish other than sea monster teeth are low, so you won’t have too much trouble finding some.

Alternatively, you can loot treasure chests in Fairy Tale Trials. Occasionally, you’ll find sea monster teeth alongside various cooked dishes and star coins. While this isn’t the most consistent method of obtaining this item, it can help you stockpile some early on before using them in crafting and quests.

How to unlock Everafter in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Everafter is the forest biome west of the Library of Lore. If you travel through the library’s west wing, you’ll find The Wild Woods’ ink barrier, which you can clear out for 2,000 Story Magic. This makes the area much more expensive than The Bind but still relatively easy to open.

Opening The Wild Woods unlocks access to sea monster tooth farming and the Wild Woods Fairy Tale Trial. It’ll take some time, especially if you’re still new to The Storybook Vale, but a few Dreamlight duties will get you there quickly.

How to use Sea Monster Tooth in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The main purpose of sea monster teeth is crafting and as a required quest item. During Flynn’s friendship quest Memory Lane, you’ll have to craft a potion containing one sea monster tooth, alongside various items like salt crystal and lightning spice.

You can also use sea monster teeth while crafting various Storybook Vale recipes. Below are some recipes that require this item:

  • Mossy Stone Fence: Sea Monster Tooth, Common Club Rush, Fairy Bubbles
  • “La Ratatouille” Sign: Iron Ingot, Sea Monster Tooth, Story Magic
  • Swirly Striped Rug: Sea Monster Tooth, Moss, Pink Rose
  • Corporate Ceiling Lamp: Iron Ingot, Sea Monster Tooth, Star Sapphire, Story Magic
  • Rose Stone Fence: Sea Monster Tooth, Common Club Rush, Fairy Bubbles, Pink/White Rose or Crimson Eternal Poppies

Whether you stockpile a few for future quests or jump right into crafting and decorating your village is up to you. Either way, taking a trip to Everafter and fishing for sea monster teeth is your best bet for farming them unless you have a few more Fairy Tale Trials to complete.
