Best place to find Resin

Resin can be easy to get once you know where to look. Simply chop down trees and each tree has a chance of dropping 1-5 Resin once it is chopped down. Any tree will do, just make sure you look around on the ground after you finish chopping down the tree.

The icon for Resin itself looks like a piece of tree bark with crystallized brown Resin on top. Usually, when I need Resin I just chop down all the trees around my base and I usually get enough for what I need. Like most other items, you can randomly find pieces of Resin sitting around or in chests.

What is Resin used for

In Enshrouded, Resin has several purposes, some more useful than others. First off, it is used when crafting various decorative items like Benches. Only Resin is required per craft, and these are purely for cosmetic uses.

Resin is also used to craft various weapons, including the default Staff which requires 2 Resin.

Most importantly, Resin is used to craft three of the five pieces of Rising Fighter armor at the Blacksmith. You’ll need ten pieces of Resin total in order to craft the whole set, which is definitely worth doing. The Rising Fighter set is an insanely good early-game set that can trivialize some of the early boss fights.

That’s how to get Resin in Enshrouded, which you will need plenty of to craft a lot of different items.
