After all, the total hours you can contribute to scouting in a given week will determine how many talents you can evaluate. It’s quite simple—more recruiting hours allow you to scout more talents accurately. If the available hours aren’t sufficient, there are different ways to increase the limit.

In College Football 25 Dynasty mode, there are two different sets of recruiting hours.

  • A larger pool that allows you to scout different prospects.
  • A smaller pool is specific to a prospect and will enable you to perform different activities to sign him up for your program.

So far, I haven’t found the overall scouting hours to be less than 450 per week at any school. However, larger schools with better programs will offer you more hours to scout prospects. This is similar to what happens in real life, as these institutions have more resources to invest in scouting. These extra hours will be beneficial to scout more talents in order to recruit them.

What if you’re at a school with limited capacities? In that case, your best friend is the “Always be Crootin” ability. This ability is available at the third tier of the Recruiter archetype.

A simple practice is to remove prospects who will not join you. Plenty of factors combine to determine if you’ll be able to draft a prospect for your program. It’s best to remove the unlikely candidates from the Recruitment board to free up hours. You can then scout prospective talents who still have a chance of playing in your school program.

Like other areas of scouting, there’s no surefire way of getting all the best talents for your team. To succeed more, pay attention to factors like Dealbreakers and stages of interest to prevent wasting your recruiting hours.
