How to get marshmallows in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Marshmallows are sweet and delicious.

Marshmallows are one of the most peculiar ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley due to their specific spawn requirements. While they originally appeared as a collection log entry during the Dapper Delights update, they need another event to begin before you can harvest them, making them unobtainable until a particular date.

Where to find marshmallows in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Pink and blue marshmallows are items you’ll find during Disney Dreamlight Valley’s End of Summer event from September 4 to 26, 2024. During these few weeks, you’ll spot pink marshmallow bushes in the Plaza and blue marshmallows scattered around the following biomes:

  • Plaza
  • Peaceful Meadow
  • Dazzle Beach
  • Forest of Valor
  • Glade of Trust

Pink marshmallows are easier to find than their blue counterparts, as they appear as small pale pink items on berry bushes. The bushes are similar to raspberry ones, with the tiny pink marshmallows differentiating it from regular berry plants.

Blue marshmallows are slightly harder to spot initially, as they appear on the floor around various biomes. While they spawn regularly around the map, much like easter eggs during the Eggstravaganza event, they’re a little hard to spot, so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s End of Summer event begins with camping-related furniture crafting, questing, and cooking. Two new recipes, roasted marshmallows and s’mores, are also available once you get your hands on your first few marshmallows. These two dishes require pink and blue marshmallows, among other ingredients.

Alternatively, you can sell both marshmallow types if you collect a bunch and don’t want to cook them all. However, you’ll make more money cooking them than selling them as raw items, so it’s worth spending time and resources converting them to roasted marshmallows and s’mores. You can also keep a few extras on hand in case they appear as daily favorite gifts for random villagers.
