How to get Lettuce and Tomatoes in Palworld

When it comes to food in Palworld, you’ll need a lot of vegetables — that means farming Lettuce and Tomatoes en masse. Before you can grow either, though, you need to gather seeds and unlock plantations.

Tomatoes and Lettuce are used in a number of recipes in Palworld, from Salad to Mozzarina Hamburgers. They’re a handy crop to have on the go, and if you have the correct Pals working away at your base, then you never need to lift a finger to tend your crops.

How to get Tomato Seeds Palworld

Tomato Seeds are a potential drop when you defeat the following Pals:

  • Broncherry
  • Mossanda
  • Dinossom Lux
  • Vaelet

However, if you want to skip this step and buy Tomato Seeds, the Merchants in Duneshelter and Fisherman’s Point sell them for 200 Gold each.

How to build the Tomato Plantation

Once you reach Level 32, you can unlock the Tomato Plantation via the Technology Ladder for 2 Technology Points. Then, you need the following items to build it:

  • 3 Tomato Seeds
  • 70 Wood
  • 50 Stone
  • 5 Pal Fluids

Once built, make sure you have at least one Pal with each of the following base skills:

  • Planting
  • Watering
  • Gathering

Where to get Lettuce Seeds in Palworld

Lettuce Seeds are an item which drop from the following Pals when you kill or capture them:

  • Cinnamoth
  • Bristla 
  • Wumpo Botan 
  • Broncherry Aqua

Alternatively, you can visit one of the same Merchants in order to purchase Lettuce Seeds for 200 Gold.

How to build the Lettuce Plantation

The Lettuce Plantation unlocks via the Technology Ladder at Level 38 and costs three Technology Points. 

Once you’ve unlocked the Plantation, you’ll need the following items in order to build it:

  • 3 Lettuce Seeds
  • 100 Wood
  • 70 Stone
  • 10 Pal Fluids

The Pals that already tend to your Tomato crops will be able to cover your Lettuce crops, too, so you don’t need to worry about anything.
