Where to find Lampylumen Ore in Wuthering Waves

Lampylumen Ore spawns almost exclusively around Tiger’s Maw, the region directly south of Jinzhou. While you’ll occasionally spot this resource in other areas, Tiger’s Maw is your best bet for farming this material, as it spawns in abundance around the facility and the surrounding landscape.

A good farming route for Lampylumen Ore starts from the Resonance Nexus west of Tiger’s Maw. After collecting the Lampylumen west of the beacon, head into Tiger’s Maw toward the central Resonance Beacon. After obtaining all the ore available here, travel down toward the southeastern Resonance Beacon, picking up any additional nodes you encounter during your travels. East of Tiger’s Maw also has a few extras if needed.

What is Lampylumen Ore used for?

Lampylumen Ore is a resource you’ll use to purchase items from Shilang, a merchant in Tiger’s Maw. Alongside items like XP potions, Shell Credits, and various ascension materials, Shilang also sells an Originite Weapon Supply Chest containing a four-star weapon of your choice.

However, you must complete the first two Tiger’s Maw Exploration quests before you can access these wares. Upon completing the second Tiger’s Maw quest, Shadows of the Past, you’ll unlock Shilang as a vendor.

In other words, if you want a weapon upgrade for one of your Resonators, grabbing some Lampylumen Ore and visiting Shilang after some questing can get you what you need. The weapon supply chest he sells lets you choose one of five weapon types, allowing you to get a potential upgrade for any character you wish.
