There are so many different resources in Nexon’s newest launch that it’s quite easy to get overwhelmed. Some of them are freely available, while others are less so. Moreover, most of these in-game resources have different purposes. This is why it’s so important to know how you can farm the Kuiper Shards and how to use them effectively to aid your in-game progress.

The best thing about this resource is the fact that there are plenty of ways to earn it. Even something as simple as killing the weakest of enemies will fetch you a handful. But you’ll realize very soon as you level up that Kuiper Shards are required in larger quantities.

The best method to get a lot of these shards right now is by chatting with Silion. Silion is the module master in the game, who allows you to dismantle any modules that you don’t need. By dismantling the extra modules, you’ll be able to get a lot of Kuiper Shards.

Usually, the amount of shards you get varies with the modules. If a certain module has a higher upgrade cost, you’ll also earn more shards by dismantling it. However, some of these modules can have an immense impact on gameplay, so be careful when scraping them.

If you’ve started playing the game, Kingston is the first region where you complete a handful of quests. Kingston also happens to be the best place with missions that can fetch you a lot of modules in The First Descendant. Once you have netted enough of them, go back to Silion to dismantle the ones that you don’t require. Then, go back to Kingston to repeat the process.

You could also end up finding some valuable modules that help defeat the harder enemies later in the game. Moreover, the modules effectively change the way some weapons operate, and that could provide you with certain advantages that are otherwise not possible to achieve.
