Kitsun is on the rarer end of Pals in Palworld and only spawns in a very small location on the Map. Its active skills can absolutely demolish foes and it boasts impressive kindling skill stats to boot. Thankfully, there’s a few ways to get your hands on a Kitsun.
Where to find Kitsun in the wild
If you’re wanting to capture your Kitsun from its natural habitat, you’re going to need to head to the Frostbound Mountains. If you’ve never been here before, you’ll find it in the North-East corner of the forest biome and the closest fast travel location, the Free Pal Alliance Tower Entrance, will deposit you directly where you need to be.
Kitsun is a nocturnal Pal, so you’ll want to go looking for it at night. If you’re heading out, make sure to put on some Cold Resistant Armor and carry a hand-held torch with you for good measure.
Alternatively, you could choose to use Arsox as a mount, because his Warm Body passive trait prevents the rider from becoming cold while riding.
How to breed Kitsun
Of course, if you’re unable to reach the Frostbound Mountains or simply want to take the simpler route to getting your hands on one, you can always breed the Pal.
It has a few different parent pairs, but here’s the easiest to manage from early to mid game:
- Cinnamoth and Pengullet
- Rooby and Penking
- Bristla and Elizabee
- Lamball and Helzephyr
- Melpaca and Foxcicle
Kitsun in wild Eggs
It is possible to obtain Kitsun through an egg you’ve found in the wild. It hatches from Large Scorching Eggs, which can be found at random throughout Palpagos although mostly spawn in the volcanic biome of Mount Obsidian.
For the best chance to hatch a Kitsun, you could get lucky and find a Large Scorching Egg within icy surroundings, although this still would not guarantee a resulting Kitsun.
