Within the Mines of Fields of Mistria, there are a selection of forageable items that can be used in cooking, handed into the museum, or used in quests. One of these items is Jade Dulse, but you’ll need to do some work before you can find it.
Jade Dulse is a green, seaweed-esque item that only spawns on floors 21 – 40 of the Mines, otherwise known as Tide Caverns. Before you can get there, you’ll need to unlock the Mines, descend down the first 20 floors, and then unlock the Water Seal.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to find Jade Dulse, but you might have a hard time tracking it down. It can be pretty elusive, but I’ve got a couple of tips to help:
- Start at floor 20 and repeatedly go down the floors in order to maximize your chances
- Unlock the level 15 Cooking perk “Seasoned” at Caldarus’ Statue, which increases the likelihood of finding uncommon or rare forageables
How to use Jade Dulse in Fields of Mistria
The Earth Seal
It’s definitely worth seeking out Jade Dulse for a variety of reasons, but the main reason you’ll need to find it is in order to unlock the Earth Seal on floor 40 of the Mines. Along with the Jade Dulse, you’ll also need to find the following items on floors 21 – 40:
- Coral Mantis
- Sapphire
- Archerfish
Museum
Jade Dulse is an item that can be donated to the Museum, and makes up part of the Tide Caverns Set. For completing this set, you’ll be rewarded with unique items.
