How to get into LEGO Fortnite early

LEGO Fortnite may launch December 7, but what if you absolutely can’t wait that long?! Is there any way to play the game early and not have to wait?

I regret to be the bearer of not-so-great news, but as of now there doesn’t seem to be a way to get into LEGO Fortnite earlier than December 7. 

That said, some folks on YouTube and Reddit are reporting that they’ve gotten into the game early. But, in both cases that I’ve seen, it’s less they’ve gotten to play the game early and more they’ve gotten into the game lobby early. In one of those cases, the ‘PLAY’ button had been replaced by a ‘DISABLED’ button, to further prove that point. No one seems to have figured out how to actually play LEGO Fortnite early.

If you’re curious how to get into the LEGO Fortnite lobby early — if you were to ask me, you should just wait and play with everyone else — it seems to have something to do with having friends or teammates who have obtained early access. So, it’s less what you can do and more who you know.

In any case, LEGO Fortnite will launch for everyone on December 7, at which point you’ll be able to find out what exactly the crossover will manifest as.
