Something nice is on the menu.

Warframe’s resident big boi, Grendel, is getting the Prime treatment. That means Grendel Prime Relics are up for grabs in the game. If you are wondering what you need to get your hands on the gilded version of Grendel, then we have everything you need to know right here.

All Grendel Prime Relics

To build Grendel Prime, you must farm the Ltih G8, Neo S18, Axi G11, and Meso B8 Relics.

  • Blueprint – Lith G8 – Rare
  • Chassis – Neo S18 – Uncommon
  • Systems – Axi G11 – Rare
  • Neuroptics – Meso B8 – Common

The best place to farm any Lith Relic is at the Hepit node in the Void. This is a very quick Capture mission that usually takes place on a small tileset. Any Speedster frame like Volt of Gauss, a movement speed build Titania, or most Wukong builds will be able to get through this one very quickly and should have a clear time of less than a minute. Run to the target, take them out, then exfiltrate with no distractions for quick farming.

The best Meso Relic Farm

You have a couple of options for good Meso Relic farms in the game. I strongly feel that Io on Jupiter is underrated. It’s a simple defense against low-level enemies. Bring an AoE frame that can clear the map quickly, and you’ll be in and out in no time.

For another very quick option, we can once again go with a Capture in the Void, but this time at Ukko. You should have a rough 50/50 chance of getting a Meso, and if you don’t, it is highly likely that you will get a Neo instead.

You can also try the Olympus Disruption mission on Mars. As long as you defend all four Conduits from the third round onward, that will net you the Rotation C reward, which is a Meso Relic.

The best Neo Relic Farm

For Neo Relics, the Ur node on Uranu is a great option. This Disruption mission will drop a NEO Relic on Rotation B and C. For people who wish to combine some XP farming or Warframe leveling with Neo and Axi farming, then Xini on Eris is fine, as the A Rotation drops Neos, and the B and C will drop Axis. It’s not the most efficient for pure Relic farming, but it’s fine if you are newer to the game and getting to grips with this.

The best Axi Relic Farm

For Axi Relics, Rotation B and C on the Apollo Disruption mission on Lua will get you an Axi Relic, and Rotation A will get you a Neo, allowing you to double up nicely. There is also the aforementioned Xini if you are not quite at the point of feeling comfortable in a Disruption yet dealing with those tougher enemies.

Grendel Prime abilities

  • Passive ā€“ Each enemy consumed grants Grendel 250 bonus armor. This is capped at five enemies and 1250 bonus armor.
  • Feast ā€“ Swallow an enemy whole and store it in Grendelā€™s gut. Hold to vomit out stored enemies, covering them in toxic bile. This inflicts Toxin damage on enemies that you hit.
  • Nourish ā€“ Regenerate health as Grendel absorbs nourishment from enemies in his gut. While he digests, enemies that attack or are attacked by Grendel suffer Viral Damage, and energy sources provide more energy. These buffs extend to squad mates.
  • Pulverize ā€“ Grendel curls into a ball. He heals over time as he rolls, knocking over anyone in his path. Jumping slams Grendel into the ground and generates a damaging shockwave.
  • Regurgitate ā€“ Violently puke out a bile-soaked enemy from Grendelā€™s gut, turning the consumed into a toxic projectile. Nearby enemies are slowed and have their armor dissolved by the bile.
