Exploring Hyrule yields many rewards. There are shrines to find, Koroks to help, NPCs to befriend, and monsters to battle. The kingdom is also filled with herbs and plants that produce fruits and vegetables.

With the right ingredients, it’s possible to make sumptuous meals and even gain the help of a horse god. It’s worth knowing how to get Endura Carrots in Tears of the Kingdom, as they are rare but useful vegetables.

Method One: Look Out For Cherry Blossom Trees

There are plenty of trees in Hyrule. Some of them bear fruit, and others hold grudges. Cherry Blossoms are easy to spot because they are large and they have gorgeous pink petals. At the root of the tree, there is usually a single Endura Carrot that can be plucked.

Though the trees are a surefire way of knowing that there is an Endura Carrot around, they aren’t common, and it’s a slow method of accumulating carrots. To start the quest of finding Cherry Blossoms, one of the easiest to get to during the early hours of Tears of the Kingdom is in Central Hyrule, between Hyrule Cathedral and Hylia River. The precise coordinates can be found on the map above.

Method Two: NPC Quest

At South Akkala Stable, located in the Akkala Highlands, there is a woman named Aya, and speaking to her starts a side quest called “The Gathering Pirates”. She is worried about a mob of monsters that are occupying some ships at the foot of the hill. Though the monsters are far away, she fears they will travel nearer and terrorize the stable. If Link handles the mob, she will reward him with a single Endura Carrot.

Method Three: Satori Mountain

Perhaps the best way to gather Endura Carrots fast is to head to Satori Mountain, which is located in Central Hyrule, to the left of Sonapan Shrine, and north of Rutile Lake. The climb up is a long one, but it is worth it because at the summit there is a beautiful Cherry Blossom Tree. There, Link will find a couple of Endura Carrots growing, as well as an NPC named Konora.

What do Endura Carrots do?

Although Link can eat Endura Carrots raw in a pinch to restore two hearts, this is the worst use for this valuable vegetable. As its description reveals, Endura Carrots can be thrown into a meal to boost Link’s stamina beyond its normal limit.

The Endura Carrot is a favorite of Malanya, who is a horse god frequently mentioned by the owners of the stables found throughout Hyrule. Malanya is located in Akkala, between Tumlea Heights and Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. He hides in a plant, and after he is given an Endura Carrot, he will restore a horse’s life or alter its stats if Link gives him the right meal.

Taking the time to read the descriptions of all food items reveals what they can be used for. Paying attention to such details can prevent Link from consuming precious and rare items like the Endura Carrot when they can be saved for far better purposes.
