How to get Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mythic in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4

Don't underestimate its power.

Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4 marks the introduction of multiple powerful weapons like the War Machine set, Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol, and his Arcane Gauntlets. Fortunately, although obtaining Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets is slightly challenging, they’re not luck-based like other weapons in the game.

Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mythic location

Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets are an exclusive drop from the Doombot boss in Castle Doom. At the beginning of the round, you’ll find this boss sitting in his throne room at the castle, allowing you to eliminate him and nearby players in combat to redeem the gauntlets, medallion, and other rewards. However, if another person does this before you, you’ll have to see if they left the gauntlets on the ground or travel the map looking for them. It’s best to get there as soon as possible to avoid spending half the match hunting for one person.

With that said, if you’re looking for the gauntlets near the end of a match, watch for a player carrying a medallion and attacking with green projectiles. Other weapons use bullets and rockets, making this particularly unique. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to target someone that’s using the Arcane Gauntlets, especially if they have War Machine’s hover jets or auto-turret to help them.

Once you get your hands on Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets, you can access its arsenal of attacks to get through the rest of the match.

How to damage opponents with Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mystical Bomb

During the Fortnite x Marvel event, one of the kickstart quests asks you to damage opponents with Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets Mystical Bomb. You can consider this a heavy or power attack from the gauntlets, and they require you to press left-click or your platform’s equivalent.

Mystical Bomb lets you hover in the air slightly before launching a large green blast wherever you’re aiming. It has a pretty long cooldown, so be careful where you use it. Your best bet for finishing this quest is to use it on other players or NPCs guarding other bosses, as a few eliminations will get you through the objective in no time. It also has a wide area of effect, so you can sneak up on a fight and defeat multiple enemies at once with one or two blasts.
