The Champion’s Leathers gear in Tears of the Kingdom let you relive past memories of Breath of the Wild. This armor puts Link into the uniform he wore in the prior game. Tto gain this outfit, you’ll need to go to great lengths.

How to reach Hyrule Castle

Nintendo has laid quite the challenge to get to Hyrule Castle in Tears of the Kingdom. As opposed to the first game, it’s now lifted in the air to a lofty height. Inside this landmark, you’ll find the Champion’s Leathers. Before you attempt to reach Hyrule Castle, make some Elixirs that focus on stamina. You can do this by mixing a critter like a Restless Cricket that gives a stamina boost and then mixing it with a monster part. It’s gross but it has to be done. You should also upgrade your stamina bar at least once at a shrine.

Once you’ve prepared the proper amenities, thrust Link into the air at the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. Have him glide all the way to Hyrule Castle, using your stamina recovery elixirs until you’ve landed nearby the castle.

You’ll find the Champion’s Leathers on the first floor (1F) of Hyrule Castle. Head into the central area called the Sanctum. Go up the stairs where the throne stands. Nearby you’ll see two unlit torches. Enflame them by attaching a Fire Fruit to two arrows. Once they’re both alit, the wall behind the throne will slide to the right, revealing a chest inside. You’ll be able to grab the Champion’s Leathers from there.

Later on, to upgrade your new gear at the Great Fairy Fountain, you’ll need Silent Princess flowers and Light Dragon Scales.
