How to get Archon Stretch in Warframe

A powerful mod on the right frame.

The late game of Warframe is chock full of mod types that are as unique as they are confusing. Take the Augur mods of the Plains of Eidolon, for example, which convert Energy to Shields when multiple are used in the same build. That may be fairly simple once you know what you’re doing, but it’s merely the tip of the iceberg.

There are other mod types that add some interesting buffs in the right build, including one designed for Wisp. If that’s what you’re hunting for, then here’s how to get Archon Stretch in Warframe.

Where to find the Archon Stretch mod in Warframe

The Archon Stretch mod is acquired by purchasing it from Chipper in the Drifter Camp for Stock. The Drifter Camp location is unlocked upon completing the New War story quest, while Chipper and Kahl can be found after completing the Veilbreaker quest. These are unlocked late into Warframe’s story, so you may need to wait a while to unlock them. Once you do, play Kahl’s Junk Run missions by speaking with him in the Drifter Camp to unlock Chipper and access the mod. From there, simply spend the Stock, and the Archon Stretch mod is yours.

Alongside Archon Stretch, Chipper sells a host of other Archon mods. All of these mods cost the same as Primed mods and give the same benefits, only that they additionally benefit a specific element when used by your frame. He also sells parts for Styanax, alongside other weapons and goodies. It’s a good idea to run the Junk Run missions once a week so you can get enough Stock for everything.

Is Archon Stretch worth using?

Archon Stretch provides the same 45% increased Ability Range as Primed Stretch, though also causes abilities that deal Electricity Damage to grant two Energy per second over five seconds. This is especially good for Wisp since her Shock Mote activates this effect, no matter who has the Shock Mote. For a Wisp player who has the Pillage ability subsumed into their frame, it means using this ability more often and constantly stripping the armor of your enemies. That’s pretty great if you ask me.
