You should be coming into Shadow of the Erdtree with four talisman slots, and depending on your build one or more of those slots might have talismans in them that aren’t crucial to your build. One of the early talismans you can acquire in the DLC is Rellana’s Cameo, a solid talisman themed around Rellana, the Twin Moon Knight. Where to find Rellana’s Cameo
You can find the Rellana’s Cameo talisman in a church-like structure in the southern part of Castle Ensis. After fighting Moonrithyll, Carian Knight and acquiring her Colossal Sword near the Castle Ensis Checkpoint Site of Grace, head into the church she came from.
Inside the church, you’ll find a translucent soul praying to Marika. On the other side of him is an altar, which has loot on it. Pick up this loot to acquire the Rellana’s Cameo talisman.
How to use Rellana’s Cameo talisman ā Is it good?
The Rellana’s Cameo talisman enhances attacks executed after maintaining the same stance for a certain length of time. Primarily, this talisman should be used with builds that make use of Power Stancing, which is obtained by dual-wielding two weapons of the same type.
Simply equipping two weapons of the same type (IE two Straight Swords, not two of the same exact weapon, though that would also apply Power Stance) will put you in Power Stance. While Power Stance uses a lot of Stamina, it also increases your damage.
This is why Rellana’s Cameo synergizes well with a Power Stance build. Because you are already in Power Stance, and will stay in that stance, you will have even further increased damage from maintaining the same stance for a period of time.
