How to get and use healing items in Infinity Nikki

Don't be caught short

While exploring the wilds of Miraland in Infinity Nikki, you’re going to encounter a lot of Esselings intent on doing you harm. While you can wait for your hearts to come back pretty quickly, there are some healing items that can help in drastic situations.

Your first experience with healing potions will arrive in Chapter 2 when you meet the Croakers for the first time and enter the Wishing Well to restore power. One of them will provide you with five Healing Nectars, which will instantly restore you to full health. Sadly, that’s your only freebie, but there are a couple of ways to get more.

To get healing items in Infinity Nikki, you’re first going to need to spend some Resonance Crystals on either the time-limited event banners or the permanent one. Whenever you roll with Resonance in Infinity Nikki and get a duplicate item, you’ll be rewarded with either Surging Ebb or Tranquility Droplets.

Which currency you’ll get will depend on the duplicate item:

  • Surging Ebb – Rewarded for obtaining duplicate five-star items when rolling
  • Tranquility Droplets – Rewarded for obtaining duplicate three or four-star items when rolling

It doesn’t matter which of these you get, as both can be used to purchase healing supplies.

With some Surging Ebb or Tranquility Droplets in your back pocket, open up the Pear-Pal and select “Store”, then navigate to the “Resonance” tab. Here, you’ll be able to select which currency you want to spend at the top.

Either way, you can use these currencies to buy a long list of materials and items, but what we’re focusing on here are the four healing items:

While you can physically open up the backpack through the Pear-Pal, this can be time-consuming and isn’t ideal, especially in high-stress situations like being surrounded by Esselings and on the verge of passing out.

Instead, you can choose items to go into your consumables slot, which can then be used very quickly with a single button or screen tap. To do this, press and hold the button shown below, or press and hold the button that corresponds to it:

This will open up a small menu and you can click on the backpack, then select the item that you want to go into your consumable slot for quick usage. It’s worth doing this ahead of time so that you’re all set up when you need it most. You can also equip items in this slot through the backpack if you’d prefer to do it that way.

When used, Healing Nectar and Healing Nectar Essence work to restore health gradually over time, while Recovery Nectar and Recovery Nectar Essence will instantly restore your hearts back to their maximum. Essences offer more healing, but they are more costly, so you’ll need to weigh up the pros and cons of each option.
