Using Amorphous Materials in The First Descendant requires completing Void Intercept missions and interacting with the Reconstructed Device that appears at the end. After collecting boss loot and finding the device, you’ll interact with it and choose the Amorphous Material pattern you wish to open.

Every Amorphous Material has its own material component list, with each item having specific odds of appearing.
