How to get all Jeuno: The First Walk Orchestrion Rolls in Final Fantasy XIV

Home isn't home without suitable music

Orchestrion Rolls may not be at the top of the list when it comes to collectibles for most Final Fantasy XIV players, but most duties offer you the chance to get your hands on unique tracks for your collection. Jeuno: The First Walk is no exception, but the obtainment method is new.

Rather than getting to the end of Jeuno: The First Walk and finding ready-to-play Orchestrion Rolls as part of the overall loot, you need to gather up a unique item and then exchange that for Orchestrion Rolls of your choice. While this does add an extra step between finishing the raid and getting your tunes, it does mean that you get to pick and choose, rather than simply accepting what you win.

When you reach the end of Jeuno: The First Walk, and the additional coffer containing the Nano Lord minion and other miscellany, you’ll be able to roll for an item called “Tattered Sheet Music”. There are three to roll for, so you have a relatively high chance of obtaining one as long as you get a lucky roll, but bear in mind that you’re rolling against 23 other players for each item, so don’t get too disheartened if you don’t win your first time around.

If you do get a Tattered Sheet Music, you’ll need to make your way to Lower Jeuno to exchange it for an Orchestrion Roll. There is sadly no teleport directly to Lower Jeuno, so you’ll need to head to Mamook in Yak T’el, then hop on a mount and head westwards to the passage that will take you to the FFXI-inspired area at (X:10.9, Y:34.8), or as shown on the map above.

When you get to Lower Jeuno, head towards the back-right corner and find the Peculiar Goblin (X:6.5, Y:5.2). This little Goblin is inspired by a character known as Gobbiebox who can be found in the same location in FFXI. Gobbiebox allows players a once-daily chance to spin a dial to win potentially high-level items. In FFXIV, this Goblin is your ticket to playing FFXI-themed tunes in your abode.

After interacting with the Peculiar Goblin and selecting “Sheet Music Exchange”, you’ll be able to exchange one Tattered Sheet Music for any of the following 11 Orchestrion Rolls:

  • The Forgotten City – Tavnazian Safehold
  • Shadow Lord
  • Depths of the Soul
  • Battle in the Dungeon
  • Battle in the Dungeon #3
  • Tu’Lia
  • Battle Theme from Final Fantasy XI
  • Fighters of the Crystal
  • Castle Zvahl
  • Awakening
  • Vana’diel March

This does mean that you’ll need to complete the raid at least 11 times in order to get all of the currently available Orchestrion Rolls, but you can also buy them on the Marketboard if you’re willing to part with between 750,000 and a couple of million Gil. Besides, you’re probably running the raids to get that iLvl 720 gear anyway, right? So it’s probably a good idea to save your money.

As more Alliance Raids from the Echoes of Vana’diel series are released throughout the 7.X patches, there may be new Orchestrion Rolls added to this list, so make sure to revisit the Peculiar Goblin with each additional raid to make sure you’ve got all of the Orchestrion Rolls for your collection.
