Where to find a Trap Disarm Toolkit in Baldur’s Gate 3

The easiest way to get a Trap Disarm Toolkit is from one of the many vendors across FaerĆ»n. The first vendor that most players are likely to find with the toolkits is Arron in Druid Grove. If you’re following the main path early in the game, this should be the first settlement that you have access to.

Arron sold us a Trap Disarm Toolkit for the princely sum of 250 gold. Note that prices do vary depending on your character and the vendor. We had a 25% discount with Arron, for example.

Also, bear in mind that the toolkits are a single use item, so the cost will quickly add up. As such, you’ll want to watch where you use your kits. One crypt that we encountered early in the game had 10-20 traps that could be disarmed with a kit. However, most of the traps are avoidable, so we only really needed to use one on the main loot box.

It’s also worth noting that Trap Disarm Toolkits aren’t a guaranteed success, they can fail and break. So you’ll want to buy a few to avoid having to make the long trip back to civilization.

Now, set forth and find some treasure!
