Once you’ve battled through the rift that took over Hyrule Castle in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll have three new Rifts to tackle. One of them, in the Faron Wetlands, is located in a pretty exclusive building called the Sweet Spot.
To get in to the Sweet Spot, you’re going to need a Membership Card, and they’re currently maxed out on memberships. To get your hands on a Card, you’ll need to get to know the locals and save them from themselves.
How to get a Sweet Spot Membership Card in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
The path to getting your Membership Card is paved with difficulties to overcome, including two mini Rifts. The process is best broken down into smaller, more manageable chunks, so let’s get into it.
Gather intel from the locals
The first step to getting a Sweet Spot Membership Card is talking to the local Seku Scrubs. A whole group of them can be found to the south munching on ‘Cotton Candy’, and talking to each of them will provide clues to your next steps.
One of the Scrubs will tell you that someone they believe to have a Membership Card is currently down in Heart Lake, which can be found in the location below:
Talking to the Scrub in Heart Lake will reveal that her beloved has not shown up for their date. Interact with the Rift that’s over part of the lake, and then despair as the Scrub immediately dives in, believing their beloved to be in the Rift.
How to complete Stilled Heart Lake in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
Inside Stilled Heart Lake, you’ll need to find five groups of Tri’s friends. There are three groups hidden behind Spider Webs, which you’ll need to burn using a fire-producing Echo (I used Ignizol), then interact with the floating orbs to rescue them from the Rift.
The final two groups of Tri’s friends can be found in a cave, accessed via a small dive hole in a pond on the left-most platform inside the Rift. You’ll need to navigate through some strong currents to get through these caves, and remember to send out some Bombfish Echoes to deal with the enemies.
Once you’ve rescues all five groups of Tri’s friends, you’ll leave the Rift and see that the two in-love Scrubs are reunited, but they don’t have a Membership Card for you. Instead, they’ll direct you towards a house in the southeast corner of the Faron Wetlands.
How to complete Stilled Blossu’s House in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
The formula for this Rift is similar to that of Stilled Heart Lake, and you’ll need to use fire-producing Echoes to rescue the first three sets of Tri’s friends.
Another group of Tri’s friends can be found to the left of the Rift, surrounded by Deku Babas. You can use Bombfish Echoes to remove them pretty effectively, and then you’ll be able to interact with the orb to rescue the fourth group of friends.
The final group can be found after backtracking from where you found the fourth set, and climbing up the rock wall. Up here, you’ll find a ladder that can be climbed down, taking you to a 2D cave area. Head down and to the left, then use a Strandtula Echo to make your way back up again. Destroy the rocks with a Bombfish, and then rescue the final group of friends.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll emerge from the Rift and while Blossu will be very happy to have his house back, the other Scrubs are less than impressed that you’ve taken their ‘Cotton Candy’ supply away, and you’ll be thrown in jail.
How to escape the Deku Scrub Lockup in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom
After finding yourself in jail (again) with nothing but an actual stick to keep your hands busy, you’ll need to make your escape. Thankfully, in their rush to get more ‘Cotton Candy’, the Deku Scrub who locked you up drops the key.
Use the Bind ability to pull the key into the cell, then use it to open the door. Make sure to explore this area a little, as there’s a red Rupee in the right hand cell, then make your way north to be faced by two doors. Take the left door, and then the fun begins.
Inside this room, you’ll need to avoid being seen by the Scrub Guards on patrol. You can, if you want, make a run for it without any form of disguise, but there is a better way to get through this room, and it’s also quite funny.
If you approach one of the pots in the room and jump towards it, Zelda will disappear into it and you can then use it as cover while you hop through the room. Just make sure to only move when the Scrub Guards are facing away from you. If one of them sees you and you get caught, you’ll be sent straight back to your cell.
If you get caught by the last two, who are particularly difficult to evade, you can make a run for the door even if they’re chasing you.
In the next room, you’ll need to use your Bind ability to create a path to the door on the right. You can do this by using the Beds in the open cell to make a bridge to the one on the left, and then take the table from this cell over to the ledge. Combined with the Brazier nearby, you can create some makeshift stairs to get out of this room.
In the next room, you’ll find a Scrub using Tri’s Staff as a ‘Cotton Candy’ stick. Thankfully, they’ll give it back to you when they’re finished, and you’ll finally be able to summon Echoes again. Use Spin to activate the blue eyes, and then make your way to the next area.
In this room, you can climb up onto the elevated rock and then summon a Flying Tile to bypass the sneaking aspect, then run into the next room to the right. This looks like a dead end, but you can jump down the well.
In the 2D area, work your way through until you emerge on the other side, but make sure to explore as there are a purple Rupee and a Might Crystal in the area. There are some more strong currents to deal with in here, but they can more or less be avoided by using Water Blocks.
Finally, once you’ve made your way to the other side, take the ladder up to the surface. You’ll be met by Blossu, who thankfully doesn’t want their Sweet Spot Membership Card anymore. After they hand it to you, make your way back to the Sweet Spot and show it to the guards at the door, who will allow you inside and open the way to the next major Rift.
