To reach Hyrule Ranch, head north from Lueberry’s house. When you run into the two guards discussing Zelda’s whereabouts, go west. Follow the path as it starts going south and it will lead you to the ranch.

At the ranch speak with the old man near the house to initiate the Runaway Horse side quest. After that, go straight West from the man, using echoes to hop over the ranch’s fence. You’ll find a path leading straight to the horse after hopping the second fence.

The horse will be stuck on a piece of land surrounded by water. To help the horse escape, place an old bed echo over the water to create a bridge. Ride the horse back over to the ranch and talk to the old man to complete the side quest.

Your reward for returning the horse is that the ranch will now loan out horses to you for free. Go up to the horse you want and hop on to loan them. Horses are faster than Zelda, can hop over obstacles, and can defeat enemies by dashing into them. The only horse you can’t take is the white one with the yellow mane.
