Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 have countless weapon blueprints, but the latest one is pretty impressive. The Lightning Rod weapon blueprint for the brilliantly powerful Kastov 74u is quite nice, but the problem surrounding it is that players aren’t able to find and equip the blueprint right now.

Many players are reporting via Reddit that they aren’t able to access the Lightning Rod weapon blueprint, despite being told that they unlocked it. This is unfortunate since this electrifying blueprint for the Kastov 74u is fantastically-designed and completely free to claim.

But if you find yourself as one of the many players without this blueprint, here’s what you need to do. First and foremost, you should ensure that you unlocked the blueprint in the first place. To do this, log into Twitch and check your notifications to see what recent Twitch Drops you received.

If you find that you did unlock the Lightning Rod blueprint, then make sure your Call of Duty account is connected to your Twitch. If that’s all good and you still don’t see this blueprint in MW2 and Warzone 2, your final option is to submit a support ticket.

How to unlock the Lightning Rod weapon blueprint

For those of you who see the Lightning Rod weapon blueprint and want it, sadly, you aren’t able to get it anymore. If you missed out on this amazing blueprint for the Kastov 74u, you’re sore out of luck for now.

The Lightning Rod blueprint was only available during the Call of Duty League’s Major 5 tournament. As the final tournament of the season, Activision released some Twitch Drops for those who watched along. What sucks is that the event only happened May 25-28, 2023.

If you missed out on watching the event live while it was happening, you, unfortunately, missed out on this Lightning Rod blueprint. In addition, you had to watch the event on the final day of Sunday, May 28, and redeem it by Tuesday, May 30 to get this reward.

It doesn’t look like Activision will bring this weapon blueprint back. That said, the Call of Duty League is still hosting its Championship Weekend June 15-18, 2023. If there is a chance for this blueprint to return, it would likely be then as a Twitch Drop. Just keep in mind that even if you do unlock this blueprint, it doesn’t work in Ranked Play.
