How to fix the egg incubator issue in Palworld 0.2.0.6

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

The release of Palworld patch 0.2.0.6 brought a lot of new things to the game, including the brand new Bellanoir and Bellanoir Libero raids. However, with every patch comes the chance that something will go wrong and this time, egg incubators are on the fritz as some players report they aren’t accepting eggs.

This is a known issue by the development team at Pocketpair, who are actively working on a fix, but for now there is a solution that should help in the short-term.

How to fix the egg incubator in Palworld

If you’re encountering the issue where eggs cannot be placed inside an Incubator, the fix is simple. Disassemble the Incubator through the building menu and then rebuild it.

For those who have relatively few Incubators on their base, this is a pretty simple fix. But for those players who have set their base up as dedicated breeding farms, destroying and rebuilding hundreds of incubators is a pretty time consuming, tedious task.

On the plus side, if you had an egg inside your Incubator when the update dropped, it seems that these eggs should be retrievable even if you cannot place new eggs into currently built incubators, so don’t worry if your breeding efforts are currently chilling within an Incubator.

If you are one of those players who have a lot of incubators on your base, I’d strongly recommend rebuilding a few of them but waiting for a bug fix before deconstructing every single one.
