Here’s how to fix the ‘Disconnected from World Server’ issue in Throne and Liberty, getting you back into the fight.

Throne and Liberty Disconnected from World Server issue solution

Although there has yet to be an official fix for the problem, many players have discovered a technique that potentially fixes the Throne and Liberty Disconnected from World Server error. A Reddit thread highlights how creating an alternate character can resolve the issue (don’t worry; you’ll still keep your current build). To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new character
  2. Load into the server
  3. Exit the game
  4. Log back in using your first character

Many users have indicated that this process fixes this problem, as the character creation seems to refresh its progress. So, just make a quick build or use a preset to return to your previous playthrough. If this doesn’t work, another Reddit user suggests closing the game before loading in with the new avatar.

Those still experiencing this error may need to wait until the servers clear up. Given that Throne and Liberty just released, the overwhelming number of players may disrupt your gameplay, causing more problems.

On the bright side, a few updates have been rolling out to address multiple issues. As more patches come through, a World Server Disconnect fix may be on the horizon. Look for any upcoming maintenance periods on the Throne and Liberty’s official Game Status page.

Keep your file up-to-date with the newest patches, and hopefully, the disconnection issues will go away on their own. If you need more help on Throne and Liberty errors, check out our guides on fixing infinite loading screens and Unreal Engine crashes.
