It’s no surprise that there are plenty of secret rooms in Tears of the Kingdom. With a world so vast and open as Hyrule, there’s bound to be secrets to find. Nintendo encourages players to check every nook and cranny to see if there’s something to find. Even Zelda herself has some secrets of her own, such as her secret room.

How to find Zelda’s secret room

Zelda’s secret room is located at Zelda’s house (and Link’s old house) in Hateno Village. If you remember making your way to Hateno Village in Breath of the Wild, you may remember that you could purchase a house for Link to stash his weapons in. Now that Breath of the Wild has passed, it looks like Zelda has settled down in that same house. However, Zelda had made herself a room on the property that Link can find, and enclosed is a secret that fans of BOTW might find interesting.

To find the room, make your way to Hateno Village, and then to Zelda’s house. Its coordinates are (3328, -2275, 0129). Once you’re there, you may be wondering where the “room” is. Turns out it’s not a room at all! If you head to the back of the house, you’ll come across a well. The well has a ladder sticking out of it. Just jump down to the bottom of the well, and you’ll find Zelda’s Secret Well. It’s a small workshop with a diary from Zelda and a chest. Opening the chest will net you the Well-Worn Hair Band, which will allow Link to style his hair the same way he had it in BOTW.

If you read the journal entry in Zelda’s secret room, you’ll discover that Zelda hid a present for Link in Hyrule Castle’s throne room. That present is the Champion’s Leathers, an upgraded version of the Champion’s Tunic that Zelda was working on for Link. It even gives a hint on how to find this piece of armor in the throne room.
