The world of Spider-Man 2 on PS5 is appropriately steeped in Marvel lore, allowing you to see buildings you wouldn’t in our real-life New York City. One important landmark is the Wakanda Embassy, and here’s where you can find it in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The Wakanda Embassy is in the same location as it was in the first game: Midtown. Head southeast of Central Park and look around the halfway point of Midtown near the East River. Check the map below if you’re having trouble:
The dark, gray building can be admittedly tough to spot [during the day]. I was swinging wildly around the area for a while before I found it. Look out for the red and green Wakandan flags attached to the building.
At night, itās a different story. The building is awash in bright, purple light. Itās much easier to see than it is during the daytime, and the lighting definitely makes for a different kind of mood.
What to do at the Wakanda Embassy in Spider-Man 2
While playing as Miles Morales, you can walk up to any of the two entrances for a unique animation. As you approach one of the doors, keep moving forward until the game gives you the ‘Honor’ option. Press the activation button (Triangle) and Miles will perform the Wakanda salute animation. I confirmed you can only do this while playing as Miles and not Peter.
The Wakanda Embassy is located at the corners of 3rd Ave. and Boseman Way (changed from E 42nd St.). Clearly, both the salute and renamed street are respective, sweet nods to Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther in four Marvel films before sadly passing in 2020. There’s not much else you can do at the embassy save for taking some pictures.
It’s one of many landmarks and Easter eggs located in the game. The Avengers tower still exists, of course, and can be scaled for some sweet tech. There’s plenty more to track down and discover in the game. If you’re on the hunt for Prowler tech, we have the guide for you.
