How to find Tier 8 Artian Weapon Parts in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Titans of weapons

Using an Artian weapon becomes almost mandatory in Monster Hunter Wilds when trying to clear the endgame content, but you’ll have to craft them with the correct resources.

To get these weapons, you’ll have to find their respective parts. The parts you use will impact the weapon you build out of them, but for starters, you’ll need to collect them inside the game. Let’s take a look at how to farm these parts in the first place.

How to craft Artian Weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds

The process begins with you collecting Artian Weapon Fragments, which can be done via two methods. Once you complete the main story, you can make these endgame weapons. You can use a Melding Pot to get the fragments, but a better method is to defeat Tempered Apex Monsters.

These are Tier 7 and Tier 8 monsters that spawn in defined regions randomly. These monsters are the hardest challenges you can encounter. To get Tier 8 weapons, you’ll have to use Tier 8 parts (just keep this in mind when starting a fight to defeat the monsters).

Here’s a list of all the monsters you can defeat to find a Tier 8 weapon part.

  • Tempered Rey Dau
  • Tempered Uth Duna
  • Tempered Nu Udra
  • Tempered Jin Dahaad
  • Tempered Gore Magala
  • Tempered Arkveld

Once you encounter any of these creatures on the maps, save them as Investigations. This will allow you to fight them three times on each save. Defeating them will get you weapon parts, and you’ll also manage to get other precious items like Hunter Symbols.

There are three important aspects of Artian weapon parts: elemental type, rarity (tier), and Artian Bonus. You should always aim to use parts with similar elemental types and an Artian Bonus to get a weapon with better stats. Ultimately, these are endgame weapons that will require a lot of time and effort to make.
