Where to buy Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) Steelsilk

The primary way to find Steelsilk is at The Hideaway. Specifically, you’ll want to head over to Charon’s Toll. It’s to the right of The Black Hammer. This store sells Steelsilk for 40 Gil each.

Toggle over from the Weapons section all the way to Materials section (indicated by a cauldron icon). Scroll the menu down near the bottom, and you should find it near the Sharp Fang and Bloody Hide. You’ll see that she carries 9,999 Steelsilk to sell. That’s more than enough. As you hold down the D-Pad to the right, the number of Steelsilk you buy progressively moves up by 10s rather than 1. Grab as much of this material as you need.

What can you make with Steelsilk?

Steelsilk can be used to create multiple belts and vambraces. Here’s a list of items you can make:

  • Rune Belt +1
  • Hunter’s Waistcloth +1
  • Goldwork Sash +1
  • Dark Sash +1
  • Wolfskin Sash +1
  • Circle of Heaven +1
  • Silken Sash +1
  • Rune Crescents +1

Steelsilk is also used for reinforcing items, such as:

  • Rune Crescents +1
  • Circle of Heaven +2
  • Circle of Heaven +1
  • Rune Belt +1
  • Silken Sash +2
  • Silken Sash +1
  • Hunter’s Waistcloth +1
  • Wolfskin Sash +1

No matter what you craft and reforge, you should have all the Steelsilk you need and then some.
