How to find Monarch Pistol in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4

That's a lot of damage in one little pistol.

Fortnite has all kinds of weapon types, from pistols to SMGs and even sniper rifles. The Monarch Pistol is one of many you’ll find, and although it doesn’t have any special abilities, it can still save you in a pinch, especially with its considerable damage output per hit.

While a regular version of this gun is easy to find, obtaining its Mythic-grade version is challenging. Here’s how you can do it.

Where to find Monarch Pistol in the Fortnite Marvel event

Monarch Pistols are surprisingly common, as they can appear as floor, chest, and player elimination loot during your Fortnite matches. Like regular weapons, they can appear in different rarities, ranging from common to Doctor Doom’s Mythic-grade pistol. If you just want to grab one quickly, look around the map for chests and watch the floor for one of these guns.

Alternatively, you can visit any SHADOW Briefing: Armory terminal and buy an uncommon pistol for a chance to get a Monarch Pistol. While this doesn’t guarantee you’ll get it, it can be a quick and easy way to obtain one for 100 gold if you’re lucky. You can find SHADOW Briefing: Armory terminals in Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft.

If you’re feeling brave, the last option is to battle Doombot at Castle Doom for the exclusive Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol. You’ll get his Siphon medallion alongside this pistol, giving you life-steal abilities until you’re eliminated.

Hit opponents while aiming down sights with the Monarch Pistol in Fortnite

During the first week of the Fortnite x Marvel event, you’ll encounter a weekly quest to hit opponents while aiming down sights with the Monarch Pistol. Doing this is pretty simple, as it just requires you to hold right-click or your platform’s equivalent to aim your crosshairs before damaging other players. You’ll need some skill in aiming to do this, but you can also target NPCs or bosses in locations like Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft. NPCs are usually much easier to hit, but you may encounter other people doing the same thing.
