How to find Lamp Fish in Infinity Nikki

They glow in the dark

It doesn’t matter what outfit or clothing item you’re trying to make in Infinity Nikki, you’ll always need specific resources for each. One outfit item that’s proving popular is the Well-Organized top, thanks to its edgy aesthetic and easy-to-match color.

To craft the Well-Organized top, you will need to reel in a specific type of fish — Lamp Fish. Unfortunately, they’re not easy to find, and you’ll need to go cave diving if you want to hook one of these glowing aquatic creatures.

Lamp Fish are a type of fish that only spawn in select caves in Florawish and Breezy Meadow. You won’t find them in all caves, sadly, but there are two that are likely to provide you with this particular bounty. There’s also an option that involves no fishing at all, but it comes at a price.

If you’ve already found Lamp Fish previously, then you’ll be able to open up the Collections menu via the in-game map and find it on the fish list. Click on it, select track, and your map will guide you to catch some more. However, if you haven’t reeled in a Lamp Fish before, then this isn’t an option.

If that’s the case, then you have two alternative options if you want to catch a Lamp Fish in the wild. First, you can head to the Well of Fortune Warp Spire, which you should unlock during Chapter 2 when you help the Croakers fix their power grid.

When you get there, exit the Well of Fortune via the waterfall, and then head west along a dirt path until you reach a cave entrance. Go inside and jump down from the initial platform to find a fishing spot in the water below.

The second location that can provide Lamp Fish is easiest to access by traveling to the Wish Pass Office Warp Spire and then traveling north through the original entrance that you take to get into the Wishing Woods. There is a fishing spot in here towards the east where Lamp Fish are a possible reward.

How to buy Lamp Fish in Infinity Nikki

Let’s face it, going fishing isn’t always top of the list of priorities, and sometimes it just doesn’t appeal at all. While fishing in Infinity Nikki is fun and you can definitely get Lamp Fish that way, there’s also an alternative if you want to purchase some.

If you’ve spent a lot of time pulling on any of Infinity Nikki’s Banners, and you’ve been lucky enough to pull some duplicate 4 or 5-star items, then you will have stocked up on Surging Ebb. This type of rare currency can be spent in the Store to purchase different items, including Lamp Fish at a cost of 1 Surging Ebb each.

Unfortunately, there is a monthly limit of 10 Lamp Fish that can be purchased, but this is more than enough to craft the Well-Organized top, and as the material isn’t currently used for anything else, you’ll have some to spare.

The Well Organized top stands out for its simple design and color scheme, and can easily be implemented in a variety of different outfit styles. It’s one of my personal favorites, and I made it my mission relatively early on to get it.

You can find the Well-Organized sketch in a chest in the Abandoned District, so you’ll need to get to at least Chapter 6 before you can get your hands on it. Once you meet the Pieceys, you’ll be able to track down the sketch in a chest on top of the stone tree circled below:
