If you need to find and dock with the Nova Galactic Staryard in Starfield, chances are you’re making progress in the Constellation mission, The Old Neighborhood. You’ve bounced around the universe and now must infiltrate an old satellite in search of Moara. Or, maybe you’d just like to locate the place and see if there’s anything worth looting. Either way, we’ll point you in the right direction.
How to find and dock with the Nova Galactic Staryard in Starfield
To find the staryard, hop in your ship and blast off to the Sol Star System. It should feel just like home, but that’s mostly because it is. Sol is where we find our familiar neighbors (hence, The Old Neighborhood), Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and, of course, what’s left of Earth. You can locate the Nova Galactic Staryard by Earth’s moon, Luna, and dock with it by drawing near and holding the “Dock” key or button that shows when you get close. Hailing the satellite as you approach is useless; only static is your answer.
This staryard ain’t big enough for the three of us
At first blush, the staryard certainly looks abandoned. It definitely saw some action, considering the random pools of blood in the docking area. I’m sure it’s nothing. You’ll find a locked door in the area you enter. It has an Advanced lock. If you’re early in your campaign, you may not be able to crack it. But if you can get inside, you’ll find health items, weapons, ammunition, and a couple of credsticks on a computer terminal nearby.
As you move deeper into the staryard, you’ll find out you’re not alone. There’s a battle being waged between a group of Spacers and Ecliptic mercenaries. Join in on the fray and clear them out. Head deeper into the staryard until you find a hangar-like room where a ship was in the middle of construction. Wipe out all the enemies and head into the ship. You’ll find what you came for: Moara’s Slate, lying on the table inside.
Do enemies respawn in the Nova Galactic Staryard?
This was my second visit to the Nova Galactic Staryard in my long run at Starfield. I know that enemies often respawn in certain areas given enough time, but I wasn’t sure about staryards. But lo and behold, the Spacers and Ecliptic mercs were back along with the loot. It’s a decent haul as well, so maybe you should check the place out again whenever you’re visiting home.
