How to find all Mineshafts in Palworld

You can leave your pickaxe at home

Palworld is full of things to explore and secrets waiting to be found. Mineshafts, hidden behind waterfalls and in hard to find areas, are just one of them. Inside there are Pals, Black Marketeers and other useful items. Here’s where to find them all and what’s inside.

If you’re going to go looking for these Mineshafts, you should go well equipped; take element resistant armors, stock up on ammunition and strong pals, because some of them are home to some very powerful Alpha Pals that will wipe the floor with you if you proceed unprepared. Trust me, I’ve fallen victim to this a few times.

However, one added perk for a few, but not all, of the fights is the possibility that their Alpha Pals will drop Legendary Schematics.

Alpha Pal Mineshafts

Shoal Mineshaft

The closest Mineshaft to the starting location is the Shoal Mineshaft at -144, -445. Inside you’ll find a level 30 Alpha Broncherry Aqua

To find this Mineshaft, fast travel to the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster and head North-West.

Falls Mineshaft

Falls Mineshaft can be found at -249, 434. Inside this Mineshaft, you’ll find a level 25 Alpha Fenglope. Arguably the hardest to find of all the Mineshafts, this one is hidden behind a waterfall, as the name suggests.

To find it, travel to the Ascetic Falls fast travel point and head North-West.

Devout’s Mineshaft

Located at 32, -183, Devout’s Mineshaft is home to a level 31 Alpha Elizabee and her cohort of Beegardes. As long as you can avoid the kamikazee style explosive attacks of her Guard, you shouldn’t have too much trouble defeating this Pal.

The easiest way to get to this mineshaft is by travelling to the Lake Center fast travel point and heading North, dropping down to the river in the East.

Alpha Elizabee could possibly drop the Schematic for Legendary Metal Armor, so this is a good fight to take on at mid-level.

Desiccated Mineshaft

We’re heading to the North-East desert biome now, so prepare yourself with both Heat Resistant and Cold Resistant armors (for day time and night time respectively) before searching for the Desiccated Mineshaft at 493, 81

Inside, you’ll battle a level 44 Alpha Menasting who can be tricky, but bring some Water element Pals and this shouldn’t be too hard.

The quickest way to get here is by travelling to the Eastern Wild Island fast travel point and heading north over the water, but you’ll need either a flying or swimming mount. Alternatively, head to Sand Dunes Entrance and travel Eastwards, but this will take considerably longer.

You could possibly get the Schematic for Legendary Refined Metal Helm out of this fight, so it’s not without reward.

The Furthest Mineshaft

The name of this one doesn’t lie, it’s the furthest from the Plateau of Beginnings and feels the furthest away from the nearest fast travel point as well. Located at 349, 563, The Furthest Mineshaft is home to a level 47 Alpha Dinossom Lux, so tread carefully.

To get here, travel to the Deep Sand Dunes fast travel point and head West. You’ll find the entrance to the Mineshaft at ground level on the Northern side of the rocky outcrop.

Forgotten Mineshaft

Heading north to the frozen realm of Astral Mountains now, so you’ll need to bring some Cold Resistant armor if you’re wanting to find this Mineshaft at -254, 478. Inside, you’ll find a level 43 Alpha Ice Kingpaca, so make sure to bring some Fire element Pals to fight with you.

The fastest way to get here is to fast travel to the Land of Absolute Zero and head South-West towards the giant skeletal carcass below. The entrance to the Forgotten Mineshaft is on the Western side of the mountain.

Iceberg Mineshaft

Still in the Astral Mountains, Iceberg Mineshaft is further south at -142, 321. Inside, you’ll find a level 49 Lyleen Noct, so prepare for a challenging battle.

The closest fast travel point for this Mineshaft is Unthawable Lake. From here, head North-West across the lake itself and you’ll find the entrance to Iceberg Mineshaft up in the cliff’s edge.

Alpha Lyleen Noct could possibly drop the Schematic for the Legendary Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor, so this is one fight you should definitely seek out.

Destroyed Mineshaft

We only have one place left to go, so it’s off to the volcanic biome of Mount Obsidian. Remember to don some Heat Resistant Armor to withstand the heat.

The Destroyed Mineshaft is home to the level 48 Alpha Astegon and the entrance can be found at -569, -416

The easiest way to get here is by fast traveling to Mount Obsidian Midpoint and heading directly West. The entrance doesn’t stand out as much as those we’ve seen previously, but as soon as you get close the title screen for the Mineshaft will let you know you’ve arrived.

One of the reasons for fighting Astegon is the fact that he drops the Schematic for the Legendary Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor.

Scorching Mineshaft

The final Mineshaft which houses an Alpha pal is the Scorching Mineshaft, located at -436, -529. Inside, you’ll find a level 49 Alpha Blazamut so go prepared with plenty of high level Water element Pals.

Alpha Blazamut also drops the Schematic for the Legendary Assault Rifle so this challenge is worth taking on as long as you’re prepared.

To get here, head to the Ancient Civilzation Ruins fast travel point and head North-West.

Black Marketeer Mineshafts

The following two Mineshafts don’t have Pals in them but instead play host to something that’s arguably better — Black Marketeers. Creepily, they’re surrounded by guillotines and wooden boxes. I don’t want to think about what they do with the Pals I sell them…

I can’t tell you what they sell, because it changes each time you visit, so you’ll just have to check in with them periodically to try and score some missing Pals for your Deck.

Cove Mineshaft

The easiest way to get here is by travelling to the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant and jump (or glide, if you want to play it safe) off the cliff to the West. The entrance to the Mineshaft is at the bottom of the ravine at -282, -161.

Abandoned Mineshaft

This Mineshaft is located at 33, -411. To get here, head to the Desolate Church fast travel point and travel West. The entrance to the Mineshaft is at the base of the rocky overhang and there’s a Journal Entry sitting outside, to boot.
