Homing arrows can be created

The Aerocuda Eyeballs inĀ Tears of the KingdomĀ can be used to upgrade armor and as an attachment for arrows. Once equipped with arrows, they act as a homing device toward foes, especially in the air. These Aerocuda Eyeballs, in fact, come from flying, reptile-like creatures. Here’s where to spot them.

Aerocuda Eyeballs location

The easiest way to get Aerocuda Eyeballs is to visit the Kakariko Village General Store next to the Inn. Kakariko Village’s south of Lanaryu Wetlands and southeast of Lookout Landing. They’re 16 rupees each, but you’ll only find a handful for sale. You can also buy Aerocuda Wings for 24 rupees each, as well as a full quiver of arrows.

After purchasing these eyeballs, you’ll then need to search the wilderness. Go to the Greater Hyrule area. You’ll spot Aerocuda flying in the air. They have orange wings, yellow skin, and brown spots.

You can spot Aerocudas in three different locations. The best spot from my experience is nearby Ren-iz Shrine atĀ 0681, 0847, 0093. There were multiple Aerocudas flying around the area. Additionally, you can check out these winged creatures northwest of Tukarok ShrineĀ (0443, 0090, 0026)Ā and southwest ofĀ Susuyai ShrineĀ (-0939, -0482, 0047).Ā As a rule of thumb, Aerocudas are flying over enemy camps. Look for smoke in the distance, and you’ll likely find one of the beasts overhead.

How to use this resource

To utilize Aerocuda Eyeballs inĀ Tears of the Kingdom, you can craft an Elixir, add them to arrows to use a homing effect, or use them to upgrade the Glide Armor set. For example, you’ll need six of these resources to upgrade your Glide Shirt to Level 2 with a Great Fairy. It’s also required to get five Keese Wings and 50 Rupees for the labor.
