Not as easy as Air Miles
“Miles” in Street Fighter 6Ā help your character get back to their feet after a loss. They’re essential if you’re struggling against your opponents during the single-player World Tour campaign, providing you with vital Continues in tougher battles. Thankfully, they can be easily earned throughout the open world of Metro City and other locations in the game.
Here’s how to earn extra Miles in Street Fighter 6.
What are Miles in Street Fighter 6?
Miles help earn you Continues for tough battles in the game. With every 10,000 Miles you earn, you unlock one continue. They’re used to instantly bring back your character to life, similar to beat-em-up games like Final Fight. This way, you can continue the battle against tougher opponents, without them receiving a full replenishment of life bar. Handy for those Level 50+ fighters.
Finishing challenges to earn Miles
You earn Miles for almost everything you do, progressing the story, engaging in fights, heck, even just jumping over railings and cars gives you a handful of Miles, but there are more consistent ways.
One of the best ways to earn Miles inĀ Street Fighter 6Ā is by finishing objectives set by random people on the street. You can go up to anyone and fight them. Before you do that, check their Details. They seem to be randomized. For Lao Mao near Chun-Li in Chinatown, you’ll need to hit the character with eight and 15 punches to get a total of 1,350 Miles. You can also earn other rewards, such as Zenny, Elixirs, and clothing, dependent on the opponent and their objectives.
While running around Metro City, make sure to check each character’s Details to see if you can earn a lot of Miles with them. Clothes such as the Jiangshi Outfit and the Thigh High Socks can improve your stats dramatically. Don’t sleep on the various effects that wardrobe items add to your character.
Destroying objects and completing missions
As you’re battling all over the open environments, look out for breakable objects too. You can earn Miles just by bashing them with a special move like Rising Uppercut or the Spinning Bird Kick. This is hardly an optimal way to get Miles, however, as they only drop between 5-20 Miles each. However, there can be also items inside like Energy Drinks, so let the demolition commence.
Another way to earn Miles is by finishing story chapters and missions. Look at the “Missions” menu and select the task. It will come up with the goal at hand and the Completion Rewards to the right. For example, the “Learnin’ in the City” mission gives you a reward of 7,000 Miles.
An important way to boost the number of Miles you gain comes from learning The Traveler Skill. This is located in your skill tree, accessed via the in-game phone. It costs a huge nine points but this Skill will certainly increase the number of Miles you gain from every task you complete in Street Fighter 6. Additionally, if you want to gain more items from winning a battle, then the Scrounger Skill is also worth investing in.
